United Nations - SIDSnet Collaboration Platform

This Collaboration platform is a Web application for United Nations. The unique challenges facing Small Island Developing States (SIDS) within the context of sustainable development were first formally recognized by the international community at the UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), also known as the Earth Summit, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992. The Web applications is aimed to address the challenges faced by small island developing states (SIDS), such a Haiti, Cuba, Singapore, Fiji, and many others, allowing governments and individuals to collaborate and share information via a marketplace, databases/knowledgebases, maps, social media and other useful tools.
